Step-by-Step Guide on How to Use SP Flash Tool

  1. First and foremost, download the SP Flash Tool from the official link.
  2. Now, extract the SP Flash Tool ZIP file and open the Flash_tool.exe file.
  3. When you open the SP Flash Tool application, it will ask you to specify the Download Agent (DA) file. Choose the Download Agent file from the extracted SP Flash Tool folder. You can find it in the ‘DA’ folder.
  4. After you have specified the Download Agent file, SP Flash Tool will show you the MediaTek USB VCOM drivers warning. Click on the ‘Install’ button to install the drivers.
  5. Now, you will be asked to specify the scatter file. Select the scatter file from the extracted ROM folder.
  6. The scatter file will load, and you will be asked to choose the partition that you want to flash. There are two options: Download Only and Firmware Upgrade. Click on the ‘Download’ option to download the firmware only. However, if you want to flash the firmware, click on the ‘Firmware Upgrade option.
  7. After you have chosen the option, you will be asked to connect your phone to the computer. Connect your phone to the computer and wait for a few seconds. SP Flash Tool will detect your phone and start downloading the firmware.
  8. Once the firmware is downloaded, you will see a ‘Download OK’ message.
  9. Now, you can disconnect your phone from the computer and restart your phone.
